Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda’s largest and most celebrated protected area, covering nearly 3,900 square kilometres of savannah, woodland, riverine forest, and wetland habitats in northwestern Uganda. The park is world-renowned for the spectacular Murchison Falls, where the mighty Victoria Nile is forced through a narrow seven-metre gorge before plunging more than 40 metres into the Devil’s Cauldron.
